Get Well Soon Andrea

On Thursday we made a card for Andrea. We have been missing her at school this week.

Violet  took the card to deliver to her after school.

Fabulous Fitness!

This term we have been working with the children from other Year Three classes during our fitness and P.E. times. It has been great to be able to meet up and learn with new and old friends. It has also meant that we have people learning different skills to share at different times. Mrs DeVries did a wonderful job making videos last Friday and has shared them with us - thank you.

This Wednesday Will Be Wacky!

Did you know that Dr Seuss wrote a book called Wacky Wednesday? He used the name Theo. Le Sieg when he wrote it. That is Dr Seuss's real surname (Geisel) spelt backwards.

Have you ever been to Dr Seuss's website? It's pretty amazing. Click the image above to link to it.

This is a video someone made of the book and posted on YouTube.

What will you wear tomorrow that is wacky? Maybe your uniform will be on back to front or your underwear will be on the outside. That'd be pretty wacky!

Harlem Globetrotters

Lucky Harvey and Will saw the Harlem Globetrotters at the Horncastle Arena yesterday. They were so enthusiastic about the experience it made us all wish we'd seen them. Jules remembers seeing them when she was 13 in Wellington.
