Three Cheers For Safe Choices

Today Room 17 all felt happy, pleased and proud that Andrea made safe choices about what to do at lunchtime. Everyone gave her a sticker - even Mr McKenzie and Mrs Warren!

Dear Spring...Part 1

Dear Spring

Hello Spring, we all were very excited about you coming, but when I looked out my window this morning it looked nasty. You made Christchurch glisten with blossoms and daffodils. But all of us were hoping for sunny days, not breezy, rainy, puddley days.
I hope you will come back around soon,

From Max M.

Dear Spring

Hiya Spring, are you here? Because if I just look out of the window it will be raining. Spring, I would like to see some sun on the day I am doing athletics because I will be in shorts and a singlet. I like your beautiful flowers and blossom. I like that you chose to make your season when the lambs are born and the calves are too.

Lots of love,
Max A, xox

Dear Spring

If you don’t know it’s only the first day of Spring. We want you to hurry up so we can get warm, and so we can go to the beach. Everyone probably wants the real Spring to come, not the old Winter. It’s like you got sick. We want you to come back.

Josaiah

Dear Spring

I hope you can fit in a sunny day today so me and Charlie can go to the gardens and see the spring flowers. I hope I can see some spring animals too. I love you Spring, for the flowers like blossoms, snowdrops, honeysuckle, poppies, tulips, winter roses, daphne, and daffodils.

From Cameron

Dear Spring,

I love the pretty blossom on the blog. The children are sitting on the spider web. I hope it will be sunny soon.

Love Andrea

Staff Portraits

Weren't the staff happy to see their portraits today? I am certainly interested to read the replies to the thoughtful questions you asked them. It was important that you introduced yourselves when you showed them their portraits and asked them to respond to your questionnaire. Well done!

Did you know Jules had two cats called Thelma and Louise?
