Ms Dowd's Baby Has a Name...

... it is Eimear. It is an irish name that sounds like Ee - mur. (It reminds me a little bit of Emma.)

Welcome to the World Baby Girl!

Ms Dowd had her baby yesterday - 15th October. She is a - not so little - girl. She weighs 4.25kg  (9lb 5oz if you're old fashioned). We haven't been told her name yet.

Olivia was the closest guess. She guessed: a girl called Imogen on 15th October weighing 4.5kg.

We'll have to wait and see if her name guess was right!

Dragon Parade

On Friday we took our finished dragons on the road. Before and after recorder with Mrs Worthington we visited junior classrooms to show them our dragons and explain the story of Nian and this Chinese New Year tradition.

TWENTY FIVE!

Happy birthday to Violet!

Chinese New Year

I was so impressed when I came in today and found you all taking notes as you watched the clip about Chinese New Year with Ms Dowd.

Here is the story of Nian too.
You will enjoy finishing your dragon puppets tomorrow. Thanks for a great day Ms Dowd!
